Two ex RENFE units (series 316, ALCo DL500 "World Locomotives") can be seen on the CP system on work train duties. 316 004 and 316 016 were seen repeatedly around. 316 004 is leased to the Portuguese company NEOPUL and has retained the old green RENFE livery. The Spanish (?) construction company COMSA bought besides others the 1616. This unit is now painted in yellow with a broad white mid-body stripe. They should be fairly busy due to extensive track upgrading and electrification programs.
