The Nevada Northern Railway is an operating museum in the heart of Nevada at Ely. Besides the two steam locomotives 40 and 93 the museum rosters two operational ALCo RS-3. As a spare parts source former San Manuel Arizona 13 is on the property. Two former US Army RSX-4 (MRS-1) with nos. 2080 and 2081 are stored unserviceable.

The photos shown here were possible during a special photo shooting that took place in and around East Ely in February 2009.
