The Orange Empire Railway Museum at Perris, CA, is noted for its nice tramway layout and the wealth of preserved (and operable!) tramway equipment. During the recent time the diesel power stock was growing, in 1996 two ALCo RSD-12 of Metropolitan Stevedore (Long Beach) came in, in 1998 ex UP E8 #942 and ex BNSF FP45 #98 entered the collection (both no ALCos though).
April 2003: Ex-DOT 015 sat at the Museum for the last seven years with a blown head, seized piston, and bad liner. Over the last six months the musuem fixed the motor and now has it operational again. It was renumbered to OERM 1975 but isn't repainted yet.
