Relco Leasing has a large fleet of small switchers, a lot of them ALCos of varying age. Still some ancient HH's among. Diesel Era published a roster in 1997 which might be outdated by now. In spring 99 there was rumor that Relco plans to phase out the ALCos.
On my June 99 trip I found three ALCos at the Decatur IL ADM plant, couldn't take pictures or even indentify the units, the security was right on hand...

north of Troy and the elevator was formerly operated by Continental Grain...)

According to the Diesel Era roster, Granite City IL has several ALCo S-type switchers, below are two I found in June 99:

| I'm not 100 % sure if this a Relco unit, the DE roster lists a unit at
Mike's Inc. so this S-2, numbered 1 (couldn't read the numberboard which tells
20?), is included here. The unit is stored inside the Tri-City Port District.
