On this page I temporarily present pictures that haven't yet found their home in a separate chapter of the ALCo World. That way, they're indexed in the search engine.

Two RSD-1 of Mount Rainier Scenic Railway in Mineral, Washington.
Unfortunately both are out of service, the one on the left is a parts
unit, and they were in the middle of a truck swap out.

The Western Pennsylvania Railroad Historical Society has preserved
ex-USA S1 7371. The locomotive was bought through the DRMS program from
the Aberdeen, MD Proving Grounds. It appears to be one of the early S1
judging from its rivited cab. 7371 was ship once shipped over to Europe,
but we haven't been able to tell exactly when, how long, or were exactly
at in Europe. Once returning it saw little use and was stored indoors.
The only damage that we encounted was some pitting on the number 1 left
barring. In november, we removed the axle and had the being turned. She
is currently stored servicable at our Museum in New Castle, PA. Brandon
