BAP 8414 & 8514 at Justo Daract. 8414 retains its
original MLW radiator layout but has had air scoops fitted to the roof
to improve cooling. These locos suffered from overheating whilst working
heavy freights in the steeply graded Mendoza area. November 15th, 2000.

8414 produces some nice ALCo smoke when driven by some
visiting English enthusiasts! The venerable old machine sounded superb.
