All units stored (1.1.95), most were sold/leased to railway construction companies in Spain and Portugal, these are 316 001 (AZVI), 002 (Vias y Costrucciones), 003 (COMSA), 004 (NEOPUL), 008 (COMSA), 010 (Vias y Construcciones), 016 (COMSA), 017 (TECSA). 316 015 ("Marilyn") is displayed in museum in the old Madrid-Delicias depot. Two further units - 316 011 and 014 - still exist, and will possibly survive.

Sightings from Phil Wormald from March 25th, 2001: 316.010 and 010 north Barcelona. 316.001 at Albacete today. Unidentified 316/318 at the RENFE workshops in Madrid, green livery.
