Some years ago, the state of Río Negro to the south of Argentina began to run trains between Bariloche and Buenos Aires, after the suspension on the part of Ferrocarriles Argentinas. The state bought Alcos (ex RENFE series 321) of 2.100 hp and the coaches. The service lasted little time because it didn't give earnings, now the trains run between Viedma and Bariloche. The units retained their former RENFE numbers on the number boards as did BAP.
